Supplication Said at the Conclusion of a gathering

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Supplication for the expiation of sins said at the conclusion of a sitting or gathering.

سبحانك الله وبحمدك اشهد الا اله الا انت استغفرك واتوب اليك
Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaika
‘How perfect You are O Allaah, and I praise You. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

Aameen!

A Wonderful Introduction in Islam

In the Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Surely all praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His aid. We seek His forgiveness and we seek refuge in Him from the evil of our own souls and from the wickedness of our deeds. Whomever He allows to stray shall never find guidance. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone, Who has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and upon his family and his Companions and upon those who follow them in piety until the Day of Judgment.

One's Deeds Depend Upon One's END

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

"It is necessary that all of us be constantly supplicating to Allah for a good end to our lives, and salvation from an evil end. It is also necessary that we, on the basis of seeing a person doing what he does, do not jump to judgment on whether he is disdained for Hell or Paradise, since we have no means to know how he will behave towards the end of his life.”
And Allah Knows Best.

Why Salafi?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Why Salafi? Why not Sufi, Sheite, Nation of Islam …?

The term salafi was used by the Prophet (pbuh) when he told Fatima; “I am for you a blessed salaf” [Saheeh Muslim]. So, why Salafi? Why not Sufi, Shiite, or any of the other groups that are upon misguidance?

Who are the Salafis?

The Salafi call is that of the Quran and Sunnah. They follow Islam as it should be followed without alterations, additions, or deletions. They are the muslims that are on the straight path – the truly guided. “My Ummah will not unite upon misguidance” [Thirmidhee, Saheeh]

The Victorious Group in Islam – the saved sec

The prophet (pbuh) said, “And this nation of muslims will divide into 73 secs, all of them in the Fire except one” and when asked which is the saved sect, he replied: “That which I and my Companions are upon today.” [Thirmidhee-authentic]

The prophet (pbuh) said, “The knowledge will be carried by the trustworthy ones of every generation, they will expel from it the alterations made by those going beyond bounds and the false claims of the liars and the false interpretation of the ignorant.” (Atuthenitc, ibn Adbee, ibn Asaakir)
There shall not cease to remain a group from my nation victorious upon the truth, they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain in the state until they fight the false messiah, the Dajjaal” [Saheeh Muslim]
“Who is more astray than the one who follows his own desires without guidance from Allah. [28:50]

The Three Basic Fundamentals of the Salaf
  1. Submitting to Allah (swt) alone.
  2. Adherence to the way of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions.
  3. Purification of the soul based upon clear texts of the Quran and Sunnah.
If anyone contends with the Messenger, even after the Guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that of the believers (ie., the Companions (ra), We shall leave him in the path he has chosen and land him in Hell. What an evil refuge! [4:115]
The salafi, therefore is any individual who stays on the true path and follows the way of the Salaf without additions, alterations, or deletions.

Hope this answers the question; Why Salafi? Why not Sufi, Shiite, or any of the other groups that are upon misguidance?

“Beware of newly invented matters, for EVERY newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance is a going astray, and EVERY going astray is in Hell-fire.”

Strive everyday to return to a true Islamic way of life!

When Will be its Appointed Time?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“Every soul will taste death.” We are constantly reminded of death. Almost everyday, or on a weekly basis we see or hear of a death, sometimes that of someone we know like a family member, friend, or neighbor;  yet how often do we consider our own appointed time? We feel sadden when a loved one dies and can admit that death had come to others, but not me (us); at least not yet. Somehow we think that we will continue to be in this world for a long time. And this shows by our actions, i.e how much time and effort we take into preparing for this temporary life. When will be its appointed time? Only God knows.

Be in This World as a Stranger or Traveler

Take for example, a person taking a trip and how he/she thinks of nothing but the long journey ahead and the preparations that must be made in order to have a memorable experience. This is exactly how we must live our life – preparing for the unseen journey that is eternal; where if the journey did not turned out as planned there is no redo – no coming back to plan another trip. This is a very important and final trip. It is the END of our journey in his life and the beginning of a new journey in our next life that was promised to all of mankind.  The day when our deeds will come to an end.

Or least he should say when he sees the torment, “If only I had another chance (to return to the world), then I would indeed be among those who do good.”

The Final Destination

“Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him”. Don’t make any final preparations or plans for this life. As a believer, you and I must prepare in the same manner as we would prepare for a journey, however, in this case, the most important and final journey of our life. The only destination in this case is the return to our Creator.

Death is an Awesome Reality!

Death is the true exposer of this life and everything in it. It is a reality facing every living being. Aside from death, there is no sure thing! Everything will eventually perish. Every material thing, possession, career, mansion, money, fancy cars, clothes – everything will be left behind. Now tell me, was preparing so much for this temporary life worth it?

What Will Accompany Us to Our Graves

Three things will follow us to the grave, but only one will remain. The other two will leave us at the grave. The three things are: Our wealth, our family and our deeds will accompany us to the grave. However, our wealth and family will return, only our deeds will remain with us. So do as much good deeds as you can in this life before it is too late.

Help the Dying Person Say …

“Laa ilaaha illallaah” – The prophet (pbuh) said, “When death draws near to the believer, he receives glad tidings of Allah’s pleasure with Him and His generosity. As for the companion of the Fire, whose deeds were sealed with evil, he is given the news of it [ Hellfire], during this terror [death].”

“Everyone shall taste death.
And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full.
And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise,
he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception.”

(al-’Imraan, 185)

The prophet (pbuh) said as a funeral procession was passing by, “Relieved or relieved of him – The believing servant is relieved of the fatigue and afflictions of this world, and entering into the mercy of Allah…”

No one but Allah knows when the appointed time will be! Let’s start making preparations now before it is too late!

“And turn in repentance and obedience with true faith to your Lord and submit to Him (in Islam) before the torment comes upon you, (and) then you will not be helped.”
When will be its appointed time? Have You Prepared for the Hour?

Every Child is Born a Muslim

.‘Every new-born child is born in a state of fitrah (as a Muslim) Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a Magian, just as an animal is born intact. Do you see any among them that are maimed (at birth)? (Collected by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim).

Basic Definition of Fitrah

Fitrah is defined as an inborn natural predisposition which cannot change, and which exists at birth in all human beings.

‘And if his parents are Jews, they make him a Jew, with respect to his worldly situation; [i.e. with respect to inheritance, etc.] and if Christians, they make him a Christian, with respect to that situation; and if Magians, they make him a Magian, with respect to that situation; his situation is the same as that of his parents until his tongue speaks for him; but if he dies before his attaining to the age when sexual maturity begins to show itself, he dies in a state of conformity to his preceding natural constitution, with which he was created in his mother’s womb.’[1]

So as you can see that the religion which the child follows is one which his forefathers followed even though they themselves were misguided. The religion which the child follows is due to the custom, upbringing and his surroundings. If the child were to be left alone without altering his religion, he would worship Allah alone.

I have not created the Jinn and mankind except to worship me and serve Me (alone). (51:56)

“And if you obey most of those upon earth, they will lead you away from the path of Allah.”
Every child is born a Muslim, no question!

Truly the religion before Allah is Islam. Submit to Him. Aslim!

Return to Tawheed: “La ilaaha illallaah”

Tawheed testifies that there is no divinity except Allah – none other than Him and none along with Him. None is similar to Him, and none is worthy of worship except Him and Him alone! Return to Tawheed: La ilaaha illallaah!

I have not created the Jinn and mankind except to worship me and serve Me (alone). (51:56)
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. [3:85]
The Messiah (Jesus) son of Mary was no more than a Messenger. Many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make signs clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth). [5:75]
Truly, the religion before Allah is Islam (submission to Him). Those who were given the Scripture did not differ except out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had came to them. And whoever disbelieves on the Signs of Allah, then surely, Allah is swift in calling to account. [3:19]

And Abraham instructed his sons (to submit in Islam), and (so did) Jacob, (saying), “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except as Muslims (i.e. those who have submitted themselves to God).” [2:130-132]

“Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire, and (so) Allah has left him astray because of knowledge?”

“They took their scholars and monks as lords their than Allah, and (also) the Messiah, Son of Mary. And they were not ordered except to worship one God…”

“Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord. And do not follow any patrons other than Him.”

“And if you obey most of those upon earth, they will lead you away from the path of Allah.”
Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed Signs for men of understanding. [3:190]

Truly the religion before Allah is Islam. Submit to Him and only Him. Return to Tawheed: La ilaaha illallaah!

Aslim Taslam

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Aslim Taslam - is a phrase meaning "submit (to God i.e. by accepting Islam) and you will get salvation", taken from the letters sent by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad to various kings and rulers in which he urged them to convert to Islam.

Letter Sent by Prophet Muhammad to Heraclius, emperor of Byzantium

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

In the name of God the Beneficent, the Merciful: (This letter is) from Muhammad son of Abdullah to Heraclius the Great (ruler) of the Romans (Byzantines). Peace be upon him, he who follows the right path. Furthermore I invite thee to Islam; become a Muslim and thou shalt be safe (from Hell or God's punishment), and God will double thy reward (as your people will follow along and be saved because of you), and if thou rejectest, thou shalt bear the sins of the Arisiyins (the peasants, your people).

(And I recite to you God's Statement:) Say (O Muhammad): 'O people of the scripture! Come to a word common to you and us that we worship none but God and that we associate nothing in worship with Him, and that none of us shall take others as Lords beside God. Then, if they turn away, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims' (those who have surrendered to God).

An Invitation to Islam

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Peace be upon him who follows the Right path/the True guidance.

“Did you think that I have not created you without any purpose, and that you would not be brought back to Us for account? I have not created mankind except to worship and serve Me alone. Verily to God we belong and truly to Him we shall return. “

An Invitation to Islam

Now then,
I invite you to Islam, and if you embrace Islam you will be safe from God’s punishment. Embrace Islam and God will save you from the Hell fire.

I invite you to Islam, to surrender to God, embrace Islam and you will be safe.
Worship God alone and associate no partners with Him.”

I want to save you, me, and my family from the eternal punishment in the Hell fire and want for you (us) Paradise in the Hereafter.

Please accept my Invitation to Islam. Embrace Islam today! You’ll be glad you did!

Aslim!

Hello World!

Welcome!

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

“Verily, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, and seek His aid, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls, and from our evil deeds. He who Allah guides is truly guided, and he who Allah misguides, no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no diety who deserves to be worshipped except Allah alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.

Indeed the best speech is the speech of Allah. The best narrative is the book of Allah, and the best of examples and guidance is that of the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), and the worst of affairs are the things we introduce to this deen of ours. And each innovation leads astray, and each going astray is in the fire.”

Praise to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Blessings and Peace be upon Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and upon his household, his companions, and those who follow him.

I ask Allah to make this work sincere for his sake and to reward out of His generosity those who read it hoping to gain knowledge from it and acting upon it.

I ask Allah to forgive me for anything wrong that I have said. Anything good that I have written is from Allah. Anything bad is from myself and the whispers of the Shaytan.

All praise is due to Allah. May Allah keep us on the straight path, accept our duas and grant us Jannah/Paradise, Insha Allah!
Ameen!
